Bare TreeThis year the Staff and Students of PW are taking part in a Toy Drive to support the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.  Our goal is to bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas day.  We will collect new toys for young boys and girls in need across the lower mainland.

You can help by:

  • Coming to the Counselling Suite and picking an Angel off our tree
  • Purchase a new toy for the child noted on your Angel
  • Return your new unwrapped toy to the Christmas tree in the Counselling Suite
  • Feel happy that you’ve helped make another child happy this Christmas

For a list of gift ideas, please see the posters around the school and in the Counselling Suite. Or check out the list below:

The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau (LMCB) was originally established in 1930 as the Christmas Exchange. Today it serves as a centralized, year round toy warehouse for toys to be gathered, sorted, stored and shipped to Christmas Bureaus and Community agencies, across the entire metro Vancouver area, in an average year we ship approx. 100,000 items. As the local Christmas Bureau for Vancouver  we distributed toys, clothes and food vouchers to over a 1000 low income families in Vancouver during the holidays.
